Size guide

Measure at home in 2 minutes
You need a strip of paper (or a string or shoelace), a pen and a ruler.
- Wrap the strip around your wrist, just above the wrist bone, snug but not tight.
- Mark with the pen where the end overlaps.
- Lay it flat and measure from the end to the mark: that is your wrist size.
- Find your wrist in the table below and read the bracelet length, close fit or looser.
Already have a bracelet that fits well? Lay it flat, clasp closed, measure it end to end and order that length.
No ruler? A bank card is 8.6 cm long: count how many fit along your strip.

How to wear it
A pull-tie lets the cord close anywhere from 16 to 26 cm, so it fits a slim teenage wrist as well as a large adult one, and it slides off without a clasp. The small steel cross lies sideways on top of the wrist, light enough to forget.
Pick a color to match a team, a school uniform or a favorite sweater; black, navy and army green are the most discreet. The steel cross does not rust, but the woven cord takes time to dry, so take it off for swimming. It suits a first communion, a confirmation or a youth group.
Questions
Does the pull-tie cord of The Woven Devotion fit both a teenager and an adult?
Yes. It adjusts from 16 to 26 cm, from a slim teenage wrist to a large adult one; pull the ties to tighten or loosen it.
How many colors are there?
The color menu lists seventeen, from black, white and gray to red, wine red, sky blue, navy blue, khaki and army green.
Can I shower or swim with it?
The stainless steel cross does not rust, but the woven cord stays damp and can fade with chlorine. Take it off for swimming and let it dry if it gets wet.
Is it a good gift for a whole youth group?
Yes. Give each young person their own color: since it adjusts to any wrist, you do not need anyone's size.
Can a boy wear it?
Yes. A cord bracelet with a small cross is worn by boys and girls alike; darker colors look more understated.
How do I take it off?
Slide the pull-tie to open the cord, then slip it over your hand. There is no clasp to fasten.

Its meaning
A faith bracelet in twelve colors
Bracelets as everyday signs of faith became familiar to many American Christians in the 1990s, when WWJD bands, short for "What would Jesus do?", spread through youth groups. The question itself comes from Charles Sheldon's 1896 novel In His Steps. A cord bracelet with a cross belongs to that same habit: something simple, worn at school or at work, that others notice and sometimes ask about. This one has a small stainless steel cross laid sideways on a woven cord. A pull-tie adjusts it from 16 to 26 cm, and it comes in twelve colors.
Giving it as a gift
Pick a color for each kid in a youth group, or for a teenager making a first communion or confirmation. Because it adjusts to any wrist, it is also a simple Christmas gift when you do not know the size.
