This is a statement cross: five oval stones set in a frame, with smaller crystal accents, on a fine link chain. No. Despite the name, the black version is set with black zircon stones and black crystal accents.

What is the difference between Black, Colorful and White Stones?

Black Stones uses black zircon with black crystal accents. Colorful Stones and White Stones use colorful or clear crystals instead. The cross shape is the same.

What is the difference between the gold and the silver?

The color of the steel frame around the stones. Gold-tone gives a strong contrast with black stones; silver looks cooler and lighter.

How many stones are set in the black Obsidian Cross?

Its meaning

Darkness and light, as at Tenebrae

During Holy Week, many churches keep an old service called Tenebrae, Latin for darkness. Psalms are sung while the candles are put out one by one, until the church is almost dark. One candle is hidden away, then brought back at the end, a sign that the light of Christ is not overcome. A cross of dark stones with small bright accents follows the same contrast.
