How to wear it
The pendant is 30 x 50 mm and weighs 15 g, on a 60 cm (23.6 in) box chain. It falls on the lower chest, where the face at the center stays visible over a T-shirt or a dark sweater. Under a dress shirt it lies flat and does not pull. It is cut for both men and women.
The stainless steel does not rust, so it can stay on in the shower and at the gym. Silver gives a cool, sober look; gold-tone recalls old devotional medals. It is a thoughtful gift for Easter, during Lent, or at a confirmation.

Is this a crucifix?
No. A crucifix shows the whole body of Christ on the cross. Here only his face appears, framed at the center of an open cross.
What is the devotion to the Holy Face?
It is a Catholic devotion that contemplates the face of Jesus in his Passion, linked to the tradition of Veronica's veil. Saint Thérèse of Lisieux took the religious name "of the Child Jesus and of the Holy Face".

The face of Christ in the cross
Most crosses show either nothing or the whole body of Jesus. This one shows his face, an image with a long place in Christian prayer. The sixth Station of the Cross recalls the tradition of Veronica, who wiped the face of Jesus on the road to Calvary, and later devotion to the Holy Face grew out of meditation on that moment.
