One stone where the arms meet
Scripture uses the image of the stone more than once for Christ. The First Letter of Peter, quoting the prophet Isaiah, calls him the chief corner stone, the one the rest of the building rests on. A single stone set where the arms of a cross meet echoes that image without making a show of it. The design here is modern: two bent lines meet around one round stone to form the cross, in polished steel with a silver or gold finish.
