Mittaa kotona 2 minuutissa
Pankkikortti on 8,6 cm pitkä: laske, montako mahtuu suikaleen pituudelle.

How to wear it
The 24 x 18 mm medal sits on top of the wrist, and the adjustable closure lets you wear it snug or a little loose. Wear it alone, or on the wrist opposite a watch so the two balance each other. It suits a man or a woman, with a shirt cuff or bare arms.
The gold-tone stainless steel does not rust, so it can stay on in the shower and at the gym. At 11 g, it is light enough to forget during the day. It is a good choice for a confirmation, a godparent's gift or Christmas, especially for someone who does not wear necklaces.
Questions
Will the Sacred Medal Bracelet fit a teenager as well as an adult?
In most cases, yes. The closure is adjustable, so the same bracelet tightens for a slim wrist and lets out for a larger one. If the wrist is very small or very large, write to us before ordering.
Is the gold color actual gold?
No. It is stainless steel with a gold-tone finish. Steel does not rust or turn your skin green, which makes it practical for daily wear.
Will the gold finish on the Saint Benedict bracelet survive daily showers?
Water is fine: underneath is stainless steel, which does not rust. The gold-plated finish lasts longest if you keep perfume, lotion and pool chlorine off it and wipe it with the microfiber cloth included.
Is it better to wear a Saint Benedict medal on a bracelet or a necklace?
Either is fine. There is no rule about where to wear the medal: a bracelet keeps it in sight through the day, a necklace keeps it close to the heart.
What do the letters on the Saint Benedict medal of this bracelet mean?
They are the initials of Latin prayers asking the cross to be a light and evil to stay away. They are set on and around the cross of the 24 x 18 mm medal.
Is it a good confirmation gift for a boy or a girl?
Yes. The design works for both, the size adjusts as the wrist grows, and a bracelet is easier for a teenager to wear every day than a necklace.
The prayer
Crux sacra sit mihi lux. Non draco sit mihi dux. (May the holy cross be my light. Let not the dragon be my guide.)
Latin verses on the Saint Benedict medal, found in a 1415 manuscript at Metten Abbey, Bavaria

Its meaning
Saint Benedict at the wrist
Saint Benedict was born in Nursia, in Italy, in the late fifth century, and the monasteries that follow his Rule have prayed and worked for some fifteen centuries. Pope Paul VI named him patron of Europe in 1964. His medal joins a cross to the initials of short Latin prayers, among them a line praying for the light of the holy cross. Catholics turn to it when they ask God's help against temptation and evil, usually on a chain, sometimes on the wrist. Here the medal sits at the center of a gold-tone stainless steel...
Giving it as a gift
For a godchild's confirmation, or a friend who would rather wear a bracelet than a necklace. A small Christmas gift that can be worn every day.
