How to wear it
This is a single hoop earring with a small cross hanging from it, made to be worn on its own. Wear it in one ear for a clean, modern look, or add a plain stud on the other side. It goes with a T-shirt as easily as with a dressier outfit.
The polished stainless steel does not rust, so it can stay in through a shower or a workout. Pick the finish for the person: silver or gold for a classic look, rose gold for something softer, black or blue for a bolder touch. It makes an easy Christmas extra or an everyday gift.
Questions
Is it sold as a single earring or a pair?
As a single earring. It is designed to be worn alone; order two if you want a matching pair.
Can men wear a cross earring?
Yes. Many men wear a single cross earring, and the black or blue finish gives a more understated look than gold.
What does the multicolor finish look like?
It is an iridescent finish that shifts between colors as the light moves, like a rainbow sheen on the steel.
Will it fit a standard piercing?
Yes. Bennett & Cross earrings are made for standard ear piercings.
Will the rainbow finish on the Radiant Cross earring fade?
Water alone will not hurt it, since the earring is stainless steel. Like any colored plating, the multicolor, blue and black finishes last longest if you keep perfume, hairspray and chlorine off them.
Is it OK to wear a cross as an earring?
Yes. A cross earring is simply another way to carry the sign of your faith, as long as it is worn with respect for what it means.

Its meaning
The oldest gesture of the cross
Long before Christians wore crosses as jewelry, they made the sign of the cross on themselves. Around the year 204, the writer Tertullian described believers tracing a small cross on the forehead when they dressed, washed, ate or went to sleep. The gesture was small, personal and repeated many times a day. The larger sign, from forehead to chest and shoulder to shoulder, came later. A single small cross worn at the ear keeps something of that early scale. This one hangs from a hoop and comes in five polished finishes: silver, gold, rose gold,...
Giving it as a gift
Pick the color for the person: rose gold for a teenage niece, black or blue for a son who already wears one earring. It works as a small Christmas extra, or as a gift for no particular reason.
