The heart is 2 cm (0.8 in) and hangs on a 42 cm link chain with a 6 cm extender, so it sits near the collarbone and can drop to 48 cm over a higher neckline. It is small enough to wear every day, under a shirt or over it, and quiet enough for a funeral or a memorial Mass.
