Measure at home in 2 minutes
You need a strip of paper (or a string or shoelace), a pen and a ruler.
With a ring that fits (most accurate)
- Lay a ring you wear on that finger on the ruler and measure the inside diameter, edge to edge, in millimetres.
- Find that diameter in the table below.
With a strip of paper
- Wrap the strip around the base of your finger: it must still slide over the knuckle.
- Mark where it overlaps, lay it flat and measure it in millimetres: that is the circumference. Find it in the table below.
Measure at the end of the day, when fingers are slightly larger.
No ruler? A bank card is 8.6 cm long: count how many fit along your strip.

How to wear it
The band is 3 mm wide and weighs 1.25 g, light enough to forget you are wearing it. The sideways cross outline follows the line of the finger, and the open band adjusts, so it can sit on the ring finger, the index or even the pinky.
The stainless steel can stay on in the shower and at the gym. Silver is the most neutral, gold tone is warmer, and rose gold tone is the softest of the three. Stack it with a plain band or wear it alone. It suits a confirmation, for a girl or a boy, or Christmas.

It is adjustable. The opening in the band lets you widen or narrow it gently to fit your finger.
Is the 3 mm Open Cross Ring too delicate for a man's hand?
No. The 3 mm steel outline is slim, but men and women wear it alike; for a man, the silver tone is the most neutral choice.
How is it different from The Open Heart Cross ring?
This ring is a sideways cross outline, 3 mm wide, in three tones. The Open Heart Cross has a cross inside a heart on a 2.5 mm band, in silver or gold tone.
Is the rose gold version made of gold?
No. It is stainless steel with a rose gold-tone finish, like the gold version.
