A round medal engraved with Saint Christopher carrying the Child Jesus through the water, framed by the words Pray For Us. The patron of travelers, worn as a quiet prayer for every road.
The meaning
The symbol · Saint Christopher
Saint Christopher, patron of travelers
According to tradition, Christopher carried a child across a dangerous river and found that he had borne Christ himself, which is why his name means Christ-bearer. He became the patron of travelers, and his medal has long been carried by drivers, pilgrims and anyone far from home. Catholics wear it to ask his prayers before a journey, and the words Pray For Us around the image turn the medal into a short prayer. This round stainless steel medal shows the saint carrying the Child Jesus through the water, in silver, gold or black, on a 60 cm curb chain.
Giving it as a gift
For a new driver, a godson leaving home to study, or a father who is often on the road. A fitting gift for a confirmation, Father's Day or Christmas, given before the way ahead.
The prayer
Saint Christopher, pray for us.
Traditional invocation to Saint Christopher, engraved on the medal
