This bracelet measures 17 cm with a 5 cm extender, so it fits wrists from slim to average, with a little room. Six glazed ceramic beads with blue or pink flowers alternate with gold-tone links, and a small Miraculous Medal and a sideways cross hang at each end. In 1830, in the chapel at the Rue du Bac in Paris, Saint Catherine Labouré said the Virgin Mary showed her the image for a medal: Mary with rays of grace falling from her hands. The medal spread quickly, and the many favors people reported after receiving it gave it the name Miraculous Medal. Around her runs a short prayer to Mary, conceived without sin.
