Saint Jude Thaddeus, apostle of hope
Saint Jude Thaddeus was one of the twelve apostles, and the Letter of Jude in the New Testament is traditionally attributed to him. He is shown in a green mantle with a staff and the image of Christ on his chest. Through the centuries the faithful have turned to him in causes that seem without hope, and many Catholics pray a novena to him when they have run out of other options. He is known as the patron of desperate causes. This gold-tone copper pendant has green enamel and small clear crystals, in three sizes, on a gold-tone flat-link chain.
