Measure at home in 2 minutes
You need a strip of paper (or a string or shoelace), a pen and a ruler.
- Take a string or a shoelace and mark on it the length you are considering, for example 20".
- Hold the two marks together at the back of your neck, wearing the kind of top you usually wear.
- Look in a mirror: the lowest point of the string is where the chain will sit.
- Too high or too low? Try 2" more or less: that is one size up or down.

How to wear it
The cross hangs on a pearl chain, a chain of small round beads that moves freely and sits comfortably against the skin. With the flag on one side and the verse on the other, you choose which face to show: the flag over a T-shirt, or the verse turned outward on Sundays. Under a uniform or a work shirt it stays out of sight.
The stainless steel does not rust, so it can stay on in the shower, during training or in the field. Black is the most discreet with a uniform. It suits a deployment, basic training, Father's Day or a veteran at Christmas.
