Saint Michael, defender of the faithful
Saint Michael the Archangel is named in the Books of Daniel, Jude and Revelation. In Revelation 12 he leads the angels of God against the dragon and overcomes him. He is shown here with halo, wings, sword and shield, the dragon beneath his feet, and he is invoked for protection in every kind of struggle.
